I would like to know if I have to make Qaza of fasts that I kept and then broke in the month of Ramadan. I am 60 years of age and unable to fast because of having sugar. For many years I had sugar and unable to fast, but sometimes I fast in the month of Ramadan and on some occasions I am not able to complete the fast. Due to having sugar is fasting Faraaz on me? Will I have to make Qaza of the fasts which I broke?
There are many stage and categories of diabetes, some of them are not detrimental while some are. However, if your sugar (diabetes) is detrimental to your health then fasting would not be Farz on you, there is no Qaza for fasts that were broken due to genuine reasons.
