QUESTION:
Is it permissible to apply perfume on your body (male) which has alcohol content?
ANSWER:
Alcohols which are made from all types of grapes and dates are Haraam. To use in whatever way weather internal or external is totally forbidden and sinful. Alcohols which are made from any other substance besides grapes and dates is also Haraam to consume (internal use) however, it will be permissible for external use.
